International Framework Alignment
Team AIUIa’s mission statement for 2026 will align with the United Nations sustainable development goals 13 - Climate Action, taking urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts and 14 - Life below water, to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development.
Team AIUIa is a signatory of Sports for Nature and part of a global network of clubs, teams, federations, events and sports organisations committed to delivering measurable progress for nature.
Established in 2022 by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and Dona Bertarelli Philanthropy, the Sports for Nature Framework encourages sports organisations to protect nature, restore ecosystems, promote sustainable supply chains and inspire communities to take action.
