The 2025 race schedule for Team AlUla Championed by LeBron James has now been finalised by the UEM E1 World Championship presented by PIF, the world’s first all-electric raceboat championship.
Team AlUla Championed by LeBron James, which has enlisted Britain’s Catie Munnings and Canada’s Rusty Wyatt to pilot the E1 Racebird, will see the team travel to four territories in its debut season (Africa, Europe, The Middle East and North America). Dubrovnik (Croatia), Lagos (Nigeria) and Lago Maggiore (Italy) are the three most recent additions to the schedule.
Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) and Doha (Qatar) marked the first two races for the team, with the championship now taking a short break before the series returns for round three on European soil.

Testing, free practice and qualifying will take place in Dubrovnik which is situated next to the Adriatic Sea in south Croatia on Friday 13 June, with play-off races, eliminations rounds and the final race scheduled for Saturday 14 June. Spectators will be able to watch the E1 GP from Dubrovnik’s ancient city walls, as the track will be located between the Old City and Lokrum Island.
Lago Maggiore, Italy’s second biggest lake, is next on the calendar for Team AlUla, with the Italian E1 GP to run from 27-28 June.
Monaco will form the season’s half-way point as Team AlUla Championed by LeBron James make their way to the glamorous principality from 18-19 July.
The recently-announced location of Lagos in Nigeria – marking the series’ first visit to Africa – will host the penultimate race of the year from 4-5 October. Home to an estimated 21 million people, Lagos is regarded as one of the most innovative and forward-thinking cities in Africa, embracing sustainable tourism and technology. Team AlUla’s Racebird will compete against eight other teams across the famous Lagos Lagoon.
To round out the season, E1 and Team AlUla will travel to Miami in Florida, USA, for the season-closing race from 7-8 November.
With two races now under their belt, team pilots Catie Munnings and Rusty Wyatt have gained invaluable seat-time aboard the E1 Racebird in both Jeddah and Doha. The dynamic duo will be eager to apply pressure for a podium position as they vie against eight other teams in Dubrovnik in two months’ time..
